KeepUp is a mobile application designed for the busy professional with an unruly mailbox. By taking a people-centered approach to managing tasks, KeepUp helps you follow up with people more easily by providing an automatic daily report of whom you should reconnect with.
This idea came up after testing the mailbox application released in early 2013.
When I used this application the first time, I immediately fell in love of the swipe gesture experience.
Of course, I recognized at that time I was not alone, every mobile designers were talking about this... so much than even Apple make this swipe gesture experience a default feature for its Mail app.
Anyway, after this NERD moment, I decided immediately to challenge myself to copy this experience and try to include it in my own application (whatever the idea).
In just 2 weeks, the app was built and like many other mobile designers, I was waiting the AppleStore approval to show my new app with the swipe gesture experience to early adopters.
I guess the swipe gesture's hype was already done and KeepUp never become a huge hit.
Otherwise, now I see again the app, I realize that it's maybe the most minimalist and most simplistic design I never did... but I still like it.
